Update: On October 28th we will have childcare with games, dress up stuff, and maybe a movie if we can get it working. If you are unable to shovel and move wood chips, helping with childcare is a way you can help, so let us know. We hope this makes it easier for you be able to come get this playground project moving forward. Let us know if there is anything else you need to make it on Saturday.
Come on out to our school playground and help us create a new space for our students and neighborhood to play, dream, learn, share, and grow!
We have four days of playground work parties coming up! October 28, November 4, 18, and 19. We will be moving all of the wood chips out of the play area on the first two days, then assembling the play structure on the 18th and prepping for the new chips on the 19th. The weather looks clear next weekend.
With your help, the new play structure will be open on November 30th.
This is a community built project that comes along once every twenty years, and we need you! If you are planning to come to a work party, please sign up at madronaptsa.org/playground-project to sign up.
And tell your friends and neighbors!
On the 28th we need:
* 30 people for 8:30-12:30,
* 30 people for 12-4, and
* 2 people to help with snacks
