Music + Arts Benefit - featuring Todo Es!

Sit back, relax, and be transported by the sultry sounds of Todo Es. An eclectic mix of tunes ranging from the Latin Jazz of Cal Tjader and Charlie Byrd to Brazilian samba and bossa nova is interspersed with original music channeling danceable Afro-Latin grooves and the laid back rhythms of old school boleros. This group of friends/musicians invites you to be immersed in the music, to lose yourself in the moment; welcomes you into their circle, where everything IS...Todo Es.

Multicultural Night

Multi-Cultural Night is a great example of how we come together as a school community. This night is a celebration of who we are and the where we come from, and a chance to learn about each other. We come together to share food, music, and community; last year we had 450 people participate.

It is our biggest, most loved night of the year. Please join us.

Hard work has its benefits and we'll have a smoothie bar, tamales, and screen printing so bring a plain t-shirt (and we'll have some extras on a first come first serve basis).

Student Jog-a-Thon!

The annual Madrona Elementary Jog-A-Thon is this Friday! On October 20th from 12pm-3pm, the students will jog/run/bounce around the Madrona Playfield to raise money for programs at the school. This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. To make this a success, we need your help

Volunteers are needed to keep track of how many laps the kids run, hand out snacks, coordinate with teachers to make sure the classes show up on time, and cheer the kids on. Shifts start at 11:00am for set up and we aim to wrap up by 3:00pm. People who just want to come to cheer the kids on should be there between 11:45am-2:20pm. Show up for an hour or stay all day!

If you would like to volunteer or have questions, please contact Mariana at MadronaVolunteers@gmail.com. We will also have sign-up sheets near the cafeteria starting the week of October 2nd for people who want to sign up in person.

Come out, build community, and support your school!
